Ingredients
- Cake:
- 4 eggs
- 1 (4-sering size) box lemon-flavor instant pudding mix
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 (18 1/2 oz.) pkg. orange cake mix
- 2 Tbsp. amaretto
- 1/2 cup PLUS 2 Tbsp. water
- 1 tsp. butter flavoring
- Glaze:
- 2/3 cup orange marmalade
- 1/3 cup apricot preserves
- 1/4 cup amaretto
- 1/2 to 1 cup slivered almonds, toasted

To make the cake:

Beat eggs until light. Add all remaining ingredients. Beat for 5 minutes with electric mixer. Pour into greased Bundt pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 60 minutes.

To make the glaze:

Combine marmalade, apricot preserves and amaretto and heat until melted.

Drizzle onto cooled cake and sprinkle with the almonds.

Note: to toast almonds, spread nuts on cookie sheet and place in 350 degree oven 5 to 10 minutes, watching carefully so they don’t burn.
