Aunt Love’s Pound Cake

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour, sifted
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup Crisco or 1/2 butter and 1/2 Crisco
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. lemon extract

Directions

  1. Cream sugar and Crisco. Add eggs, flour, vanilla and lemon extract alternately until well mixed.

  2. Pour in Bundt pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes until done. Pour a lemon sugar glaze over the cooled cake.
