Avocado-Clam Dip

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe medium avocados
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. onion salt
  • 1/2 tsp. hot pepper sauce
  • 1/4 cup dairy sour cream
  • 1 can (7 1/2 oz.) minced clams, drained

Directions

  1. Cut avocados in half lengthwise, remove seed and skin. Cut in chunks, sprinkle with lemon juice and mash with wooden spoon or masher until smooth.

  2. Add remaining ingredients. Cover and chill

  3. Serve as a dip for hot French fries.

  4. makes about 2 cups.
