Ingredients
- 13.5 oz Flour
- 5 oz Bread Crumbs
- 2 oz Chives, fine diced
- 4 oz Corn Starch
- 1.5 oz Baking Powder
- 4 Cups Beer
- 1 t Black Pepper, fresh ground
- 20 oz Rogue River Blue Cheese
Directions
- In a mixing bowl add the following ingredients: flour, bread Crumb, baking powder, cornstarch, chop chives, salt, pepper and gently stir in beer and mix well.
- Refrigerate fritter batter over night.
- Divide blue Cheese into small 1/2 oz pc. and roll into balls and refrigerate until needed.
- Dip the cheese into the batter until coated all over.
- Carefully drop the fritter into the deep fryer and cook for about 1 minute.
- Cook evenly on all sides then with a spoon transfer to the paper towel to drain.
