Fettuccine Alfredo – Italy Pavilion

Ingredients

  • 1 pound fettuccine noodles, fresh
  • 1 cup butter, softened, cut
  • 1/3 to 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, fresh grated
  • Black pepper, freshly cracked
  • Additional Parmesan cheese, garnish

Directions

  1. Drop fettuccine into boiling salted water and cook until it floats to the top of the boiling water, about 2 to 3 minutes. Drain immediately (do not rinse) and return to pot. Add softened butter and cheese, tossing noodles until well coated. Season with pepper and additional cheese, if desired.

  2. Serve immediately.
