Ingredients
- 2 lbs. stewing beef, cut in 1/2 inch cubes
- 2 Tbsp. cooking oil
- 2 cups chopped onions
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes, cut up
- 1 beef bouillon cube
- 2 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. dried oregano leaves
- 1 tsp. ground cumin
- 2 (15 oz.) cans pinto or kidney beans
Directions

Brown meat in hot oil in Dutch oven. Add onion, garlic, tomatoes, bouillon cube, chili powder, salt, oregano and cumin. Cover and simmer 1 3/4 hours. Add undrained beans; simmer 15 minutes.
