Simple Stir-Fry

Ingredients

  • Ingredients:
  • 4 tbsps sesame oil
  • 3 tbsps teriyaki sauce
  • 4 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1-inch ginger stem, peeled and crushed
  • 2 pounds chicken breasts, skinless and boneless
  • 1 dozen button mushrooms, sliced medium-thick (Feel free to use shiitake mushrooms or other)
  • 1 head bok choy, chopped
  • 1 head broccoli, stems removed
  • 3 carrots, peeled and julienne (long, thin strips)
  • 1/4 pound snow peas

Directions

  1. Heat half the oil in a wok over medium heat. Brown the chicken for a few minutes on both sides.

  2. Remove it, slice it into strips and set aside. Heat the rest of the oil on high heat. Add the vegetables, garlic, ginger, and teriyaki sauce.

  3. Stir-fry for two minutes and add the chicken.

  4. Cook for another three minutes and serve with rice or rice noodles.
