Cheddar Broccoli Soup

Ingredients
- 1 quart chicken broth
- 2-4 c chopped broccoli
- 3-4 carrots, chopped
- 1/2 onion, chopped
- 3/4 c flour
- 3/4 c butter, melted
- salt and pepper
- 4 c half-and-half
- 2-4 c grated sharp cheddar cheese
Directions

In a large pot, boil chicken broth, broccoli, carrots, and onions for 10 minutes.

Make a paste with flour and melted butter and salt and pepper.

Add half-n-half to paste, then add to soup.

Bring up to temperature, then add the cheese.
