Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 oz. cream cheese
- 1 tsp. allspice
- 1 tsp. lemon juice
- 2 20-oz. cans pie sliced apples
- 3/4 cup chopped pecans
- 1 pkg. yellow cake mix
- 1/3 cup butter or margarine
Directions

Cream together first ingredients. Stir in apples.

In large casserole or pan, sprinkle 1/3 of the cake mix. In layers pour in 1/2 of the apple mixture, 1/2 pecans, 1/2 remaining cake mix, remainder of apple. pecans and cake mix. Dot with butter.

Bake at 375 degrees for 40 minutes or until top crust is crisp and golden.
