Ingredients
- 1/2 cup walnuts
- 3 eggs
- 2 cups peeled apple pieces
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp. cloves
- 1/2 cup raisins
Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease and flour a 9 inch square pan.

Assemble blender. Blend-chop nuts and set aside.

Put eggs and apple pieces into blender container. Cover and process at PUREE until apples are finely chopped. Scrap down sides as needed to keep mixture near the blades)

thoroughly. Stir in nuts and raisins. Pour into prepared pan and bake 35-40 minutes.
