Applesauce Pecan Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 unbaked pie shell
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 3/4 cup dark corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup applesauce
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 3 eggs, beaten

Directions

  1. Combine butter, sugar, and cinnamon. Add syrup, applesauce, pecans and eggs. Blend well. Pour into pie shell.

  2. Bake in a 400 degree oven for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 325 degrees and bake for 25-30 additional minutes.
