Carmel Corn

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 unpopped popcorn, pop it OR
  • buy 3 bags Kroger brand popped popcorn
  • 1 C margarine
  • 2 C brown sugar
  • 1/2 C light Karo syrup
  • 1 t salt
  • 1/2 t baking soda
  • 1 t vanilla

Directions

  1. In saucepan, dutch oven, type, SS

  2. Margarine, brown sugar, karo and salt-
  3. Bring to bubbling
  4. Add soda and vanilla

  5. Cook until frothy

  6. Mix mixture with popped popcorn

  7. Oven at 250 deg

  8. Place on greased cookie type pans and bake 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes
