Sour Cream Pound Cake

Ingredients

  • 2 sticks butter
  • 3 C sugar
  • 1 C sour cream
  • 3 C flour
  • 1/2 t baking soda
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 t vanilla
  • Frosting:
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 brick cream cheese
  • 1 box confectioner's sugar
  • 1/2 t almond extract
  • 1/2 t vanilla

Directions

  1. Bake 325 deg for 1 hour

  2. Cream butter and sugar together, add sour cream.

  3. Sift flour and baking soda together. Add to creamed mixture, alternately with eggs, one at a time, beating after each.

  4. Add vanilla. Pour into a greased and floured tube pan

  5. Frost when cool
