5 flavored Pound Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 t each cocoanut, rum,, lemon, butter and vanilla ext
  • 1 C soft butter
  • 1/2 C solid Crisco
  • 3 C sugar
  • 5-6 eggs well beaten
  • 3 C flour
  • 1/2 t baking powder
  • 1 C whole milk
  • Glaze
  • 1 C sugar
  • 1/2 C water
  • 1 t all 5 extracts again

Directions

  1. beat together butter, Crisco and sugar

  2. add eggs

  3. Add flour mixture and milk alternately

  4. Bake 325 deg in greased and floured tube pan for 1 1/2 hours

  5. Glaze
