Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp. fat
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
- 1 (20 oz.) can tomatoes (2 1/2 cups)
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. lasagna noodles
- 8 oz. shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 (12 oz.) carton cottage cheese
- Grated parmesan, for serving

Heat oven to 350 degrees.

In large skillet, heat fat over medium heat. Add the beef and garlic and cook until beef is no longer pink. Stir in the tomato paste, canned tomatoes, salt, pepper and oregano. Cover and simmer 20 minutes.

Meanwhile, cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions.

In an 11 × 7-inch baking dish, alternate layers of cooked noodles, mozzarella cheese, cottage cheese and meat sauce.

Bake 20 to 30 minutes. Serve with grated parmesan.
