Antipasto Platter

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. thinly sliced deli meats or sausages
  • 1/4 lb. sliced provolone or pecorino Romano cheese
  • 12 oz. Nicoise or other fine-quality olives
  • 1 (8 oz.) jar pepperoncini (Italian pickled peppers)
  • 1 (6 oz.) jar marinated artichoke hearts, drained
  • focaccia or other rustic Italian bread
  • About 1 1/2 lb. steamed new potatoes dressed with olive oil and seasonings
  • Raw vegetables, such as cherry tomatoes, bell pepper strips, sliced bulb fennel, zucchini spears or cucumber slices
  • Extra-virgin olive oil, salt and freshly ground black pepper, for dipping bread or raw vegetables

Directions

  1. Arrange your choice ( or all) of the ingredients on a decorative serving platter, with olive oil, salt and pepper in small bowls.
