Ingredients
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 cups flour
- 1 stick butter
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1 cup water
- 4 T cocoa
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- Frosting:
- 1 stick butter
- 6 T milk
- 4 T cocoa
- 4 cups powdered sugar
- 1 cup nuts
- 1 tsp vanilla
Directions

Sift together salt, sugar, and flour.

Boil together butter, oil, water, and cocoa and pour over flour mixture. Stir well.

Add vanilla, cinnamon, baking soda and buttermilk. Stir.

Pour into 9×13 or greased jelly roll pan.

Bake 400 for 20 min.

Frosting:
-
Mix butter, cocoa, and milk over low heat.

Remove from heat and add sugar.

Beat well and add nuts and vanilla.

Spread on cooled cake.

Refrigerate cake.
