Ingredients
- 4 eggs
- 2/3 C sugar
- 1/2 t salt
- 2/3 C flour
- 1/2 C cornstarch
- whipping cream
- fruit
- Glaze
- 1 C orange juice
- 1
- 1/2 C hot water
- 1/2 C lemon juice
- 3 T cornstarch
- 3/4 C confectioner sugar (or sugar)
- Top with slivered almonds
Directions

Beat eggs and gradually add sugar and salt, beating until volume doubles and mounds slightly when dropped from spoon

Sift flour and 1/2 C cornstarch over egg mixture and FOLD in egg mixt.

Pour into 2 greased and floured 9 inch layer pans.

AND repeat layers

Glaze:

Mix together orange and lemon juice, hot water, 3 T cornstarch and 3/4 C conf sugar and top with almonds
