Pecan Pie

Ingredients

  • 1-unbaked pie crust
  • 3 eggs- slightly beaten
  • 2/3 C light brown sugar OR white sugar
  • 1/2 t salt
  • 1 C white Karo syrup
  • 1/3 C melted butter-cooled so doesn't cook eggs
  • 1/2 t vanilla-opt
  • 1 C pecans

Directions

  1. Cream together sugar, salt, butter and corn syrup

  2. Add eggs after creamed and beat very little

  3. Add vanilla and pecans

  4. Bake 375 for 40-50 minutes or until set

  5. Takes more like 1 hour to bake and set
