Tuscan Bread/Raisin Bread/Bread Machine

Ingredients

  • 9 oz water
  • 2 T olive oil
  • 1 1/4 t salt
  • 1 3/4 T sugar
  • 3 C flour
  • 1 package rapid acting yeast( or 2 1/4 t jar yeast)
  • Center of loaf after mix in dough cycle:
  • Raisins
  • soft butter
  • cinnamon
  • cardamom

Directions

  1. Layer first 6 ingredients in bread machine and use dough cycle

  2. Remove from machine and turn out on lightly floured surface-add more flour if needed-make into a rectangle

  3. Onto edge of rectangle put butter cinnamon, cardamom and raisin mixture

  4. Roll tightly, tucking in edges as you go

  5. Crimp ends

  6. OIl 2 loaf pans and put in rolled dough mixture

  7. Let rise at least one hour

  8. Bake 350 degrees 25–30 minutes
