Apple-Cranberry Cobbler

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cup fresh cranberries
- 6 cup sliced tart apples
- 1 Tbsp. grated orange peel
- 2 Tbsp. orange juice
- 1 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 1/2 Tbsp. quick-cooking tapioca
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
Directions

Combine cranberries, apples, orange peel and orange juice. In a small bowl combine 1 1/4 cups sugar, tapioca and salt; pour over fruit; mix well; let stand 15 minutes.

Pour into shallow casserole; dot with 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine; cover; bake at 425 degrees for 30 minutes.

Meanwhile combine remaining ingredients; stir with fork until a soft dough forms. Drop heaping tablespoons on top of hot fruit mixture. Bake uncovered 15 minutes longer or until dumplings are golden brown and done.

Serve warm with plain cream.
