Ingredients
- 4 (1-inch-thick) pork chops, cut with pockets
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 3 Tbsp. water
- Apple- Crumb Stuffing:
- 1 cup soft breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup diced apple
- 3 Tbsp. minced onion
- 3 Tbsp. raisins, chopped
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. sugar
- Pinch of pepper
- Pinch of ground sage
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted

Stuff pockets of pork chops with Apple- Crumb Stuffing, and secure with wooden picks. Sprinkle pork chops with salt and pepper.

Melt butter in a large, heavy skillet; brown pork chops on both sides. Add water; reduce heat. Cover and simmer 50 to 55 minutes or until pork chops are tender.

Combine all ingredients; mix well.
