Ingredients
- 4 1/2 cups apples, peeled and chopped
- 1 cup nuts
- 1 cup coconut
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 3 cups flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 Tbsp. cinnamon
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 3 eggs
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
- Icing:
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter or margarine
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
Directions

Combine apples, nuts, coconut and sugar. Add flour, soda and cinnamon. Mix in oil, eggs and vanilla. Pour into a greased and floured tube pan and bake 1 hour at 350 degrees.

For Icing:

Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and cook 2 1/2 minutes after butter melts. Pour over hot cake after poking holes in it with a knife. Cool and turn from pan.
