Ingredients
- 8 C flour
- 7 t baking powder
- Pinch salt
- 2 t vanilla
- 11/2 C sugar
- 6 eggs beaten
- 1 stick Buttery Crisco
- 1 stick butter-softened
- Chill for several hour
- CUT RECIPE IN 1/2 FOR 70 OR SO COOKIES
Directions

Bake 350 deg or 325 in conv oven

Bake 15 minutes

Form ball and roll out on floured counter with seran wrap on top

Roll into a long rope-a little larger than a pencil

Using a buttered knife, cut cookie into 1/4-1/2 inch slices.

Shape into candy canes, wreath

Place on non-greased cookie sheet

FROSTING

1 1/2 -1 3/4 C powdered sugar

1/2 stick butter
-
1/2 t vanilla
-
2 T milk-or enough milk to get consistency wanted
