Broccoli Caraway Orzo

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup orzo
  • 3 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 Tbsp. caraway seeds
  • 2 tsp. canola oil
  • salt and freshly aground black pepper

Directions

  1. Bring a large saucepan 3/4 filled with water to a boil.

  2. Add the orzo and boil 5 minutes.

  3. Add the broccoli florets and continue to boil 4 to 5 minutes.

  4. The orzo should be cooked through but still firm. Drain and place in a bowl. ’

  5. Add the caraway seeds, canola oil and salt and pepper to taste.
