Awendaw

(from Lucianolinda’s recipe box)

This is an old South Carolina dish. In Charleston it is spelled Awendaw. In Sewanee it’s “Owen Daw”. But no matter how it is spelled or what its origin, it is gentle and smoothing and liked by men, women and children
