Ingredients
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp rubbed sage
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp poultry seasoning
- 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1-2 tsp liquid smoke, optional
- 1 lb ground pork
Directions

In a large bowl, mix maple syrup, salt, spices and liquid smoke. Add pork; mix lightly but thoroughly. Shape into 8 2 1/2-inch patties. Refrigerate patties, covered, at least 1 hour.

In a large nonstick skillet coated with cooking spray, cook patties over medium heat until they reach 160, 4-6 minutes per side.
