Waffles

Cook time: 30 minutes
Serves 6 people

Ingredients

  • 3 c flour
  • 3 t baking powder
  • 1/2 t salt
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 2 1/2 c milk
  • 3/4 oil
  • 3 egg whites
  • 1/4 c sugar

Directions

  1. Mix dry ingredients together.

  2. In another bowl beat egg yolk slightly. Stir in milk and oil.

  3. Add wet ingredients to dry. Stir till just moistened (should be lumpy).

  4. In another bowl beat egg whites until stiff peaks form.

  5. Gently flolk egg whites into flour and egg yolk mixture, leaving a few fluffs of egg white. Do not over mix.

  6. Waffle Iron

  7. 7/8 c batter
