Ingredients
- 2.5 lb boneless beef chuck roast
- 14.5 oz can diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1/4 cup white vinegar
- 3 tbsp. tomato puree
- 1 tbsp. poppy seeds
- 1 bay leaf
- 2 1/4 tsp sugar
- 2 tsp Dijon
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- 1/2 tsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp dried rosemary, crushed
- 1/4 tsp ground cumin
- 1/4 tsp turmeric
- 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
- 1/8 tsp ground cloves
- Hot cooked egg noodles
Directions

Place the roast in a slow cooker. Mix all remaining ingredients except noodles; add to roast. Cook, covered, on LOW 7-9 hrs. Discard bay leaf. Skim fat; thicken juices. Serve roast with noodles and gravy.
