Meringue Cookies

Ingredients

  • 3 egg whites
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar

Directions

  1. Beat egg whites until foamy.

  2. Beat in salt and cream of tartar.

  3. Gradually add sugar and beat until stiff.

  4. Cover baking pan with parchment paper.

  5. Drop meringue by teaspoon onto paper.

  6. Bake at 200 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.
