Amped – Up Red Pepper Paste

Some uses for this spicy paste include as a sauce for roast chicken, mixed into mayonnaise or shrimp and chicken salads, and tossed with potatoes

Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp. sweet paprika
- 2 Tbsp. smoked paprika
- 2 Tbsp. red wine vinegar
- 9 garlic cloves
- 2 bay leaves, crumbled
- 1 Tbsp. tomato paste
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
- 7 sprigs fresh cilantro
- 5 sprigs fresh parsley
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. kosher salt
- 1/4 tsp. white pepper
- 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
Directions

Combine all ingredients (except oil) in a food processor and pulse until garlic and herbs are minced. With motor running, slowly add olive oil until a thick paste forms. Spoon into a jar and refrigerate ip to a month.
