Angela’s Spicy Buffalo Wings

Ingredients
- 2 1/2 lb. chicken wings pieces (wings already cut)
- 2 tsp. salt
- 3/4 tsp. ground black pepper
- 1/4 tsp. ground red pepper
- 1/4 tsp. onion powder
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- Vegetable oil
- Spicy Buffalo Sauce:
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 (5 oz.) bottle hot sauce
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. sugar
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- Cool Ranch Sauce:
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup buttermilk
- 1 Tbsp. chopped fresh chives
- 1/4 tsp. lemon zest
- 2 tsp. lemon juice
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- salt and pepper to taste
- celery sticks
Directions

Sprinkle wings with salt and next 3 ingredients. Dredge in flour, shaking to remove excess.

Pour oil to depth of 2 inches into a large deep skillet; heat to 350 degrees. Fry wings, in batches, 3 to 4 minutes on each side or until done. Drain on a wire rack over paper towels. Toss wings in Spicy Buffalo Sauce; serve immediately with Cool Ranch Sauce and celery sticks.

Spicy Buffalo Sauce:

Cook tomato sauce, hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce, salt and sugar, and 1/4 tsp pepper in saucepan over medium heat 8 to 10 minutes or until slightly thickened.

Cool Ranch Sauce:

Whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, buttermilk, chives, lemon zest, lemon juice, minced garlic clove, and salt and pepper to taste until smooth.
