Prime Rib Two Ways

Ingredients

  • 8 lb prime rib (three bone)
  • Salt pepper and any other rub

Directions

  1. **High heat method:

  2. Let meat stand at room temp for 4 hours

  3. Roast at 500 degrees for 5 min per lb = 40 min

  4. Turn off oven and let sit in oven for 2 hours – do not open oven until finished

  5. Low heat method:

  6. 200 degrees – 250 cook until internal temp is 120-130 take from oven.

  7. When ready to eat roast at 500 degrees for 30 min.
