Appetizer Meatballs

Ingredients

  • 2 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1 lb. bulk pork sausage
  • 1 can (5 oz.) evaporated milk
  • 2 cups old-fashioned oats
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 2 tsp. chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 2 to 3 tsp. salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
  • Sauce:
  • 2 cups ketchup
  • 1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. liquid smoke
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion

Directions

  1. Combine the first 10 ingredients; shape into 1 inch balls. Place in a single layer in a baking pan.

  2. Combine the sauce ingredients and pour over meatballs. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
