Apple-Cranberry Breakfast Pudding

Ingredients
- 4 cups milk
- 3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar, divided use
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 cup fresh cranberries, halved, Plus extra for garnish
- 8 oz. golden raisins
- 2 cups large-flake rolled oats
- 4 to 5 Red Delicious or other apples, cored, sliced thin but not peeled (reserve a few for garnish
Directions

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Combine milk, 1/2 cup sugar and the salt in a microwave- safe large bowl.

Heat in microwave on high until very hot but not boiling, 6 to 8 minutes.

Shake remaining sugar and cranberries in a plastic bag. To the microwave mixture, add cranberries, raisins, oats, apples and nuts; mix well.

Place in 2 (1 1/2 quart) soufflé dishes or 1 (3 quart) casserole and bake for 30 minutes. Stir before serving.

Mix the sour cream with a little cinnamon sugar. Top each serving with a dollop and a few extra cranberries and apple slices.
