Ingredients
- 2 cups sliced apples
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 2 tsp. grated rind
- 1 recipe Baking Powder Biscuit
- 2 Tbsp. melted butter
Directions

Combine apples, sugar, cinnamon and lemon rind.

Roll dough into a rectangle 1/4 inch thick. Spread with butter and apple mixture; roll up like jelly roll. Wet edges and press together so that juice will not escape.

Place roll in a cloth and serve with a pudding sauce.

Cherries, leaches or other fruit may be used for apples.
