Apple-Peanut Crumble

Ingredients
- 5 cooking apples, peeled, cored and sliced
- 2/3 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup quick-cooking rolled oats
- 1/2 tsp. freshly grated nutmeg
- 1/3 cup margarine OR butter, at room temperature
- 2 Tbsp. peanut butter
Directions

Place apples slices in slow cooker.

In a medium bowl, combine sugar, flour, oats, cinnamon and nutmeg. Mix in margarine or butter and peanut butter with a pastry blender or fork until crumbly. Sprinkle over apples.

Cover and cook on low 5 to 6 hours. Serve warm, plain or with ice cream or whipped cream.
