Ingredients
- 2 lbs. Yukon Gold potatoes, peeled and cut into 1-inch pieces
- 3 cups chicken broth
- 1/3 cup buttermilk
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 2 tbsp. whipped butter
- 3/4 tsp kosher salt
- Black pepper
- 1 tbsp. chopped fresh chives
Directions

Put the potatoes into a slow cooker and pour the broth over the top. Cover and cook on LOW 8 hours, until the potatoes are cooked and soft.

Drain the potatoes, reserving some of the broth, and return them to the slow cooker. Add the buttermilk, sour cream, butter, salt, and pepper to taste and mash with a potato masher. Stir in the chives and keep warm until ready to serve.
