Ingredients
- 2/3 c. shortening
- 2/3 c. butter
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 3-1/2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 12 oz. chocolate chips
Directions

Mix shortening and butter, sugars, eggs, and vanille thoroughly. Blend dry ingredients into wet and add chocolate chips. Drop by rounded teaspoonsful on lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375° for 10-12 minutes.
