Ingredients
- 2 tbsp. milk
- 2 tbsp. cornmeal
- 1 tbsp. finely chopped onion
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp dried oregano, crushed
- 1/4 tsp ground cumin
- 1/8 tsp cayenne
- 1/8 tsp lemon-pepper seasoning
- 8 oz. ground lamb
- 8 oz. ground beef
- 1/4 cup finely crumbed feta
- 2 large pita bread rounds, split
- 1 1/2 cups shredded fresh spinach

In a medium bowl, combine milk, cornmeal, onion, garlic, salt, oregano, cumin, cayenne, and lemon-pepper seasoning. Add meats; mix well. Shape into 8 oval patties. Place 1 tbsp. feta in the center of each of 4 of the ovals. Top with remaining ovals; press edges to seal. Reshape patties as necessary.

Grill patties on the rack of an uncovered grill directly over medium for 14-18 minutes or until done. Serve patties in pitas with shredded spinach.
