Jalapeno Barbecue Ketchup

Ingredients

  • 1 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/2 cup canned chipotle chile peppers in adobo sauce
  • 1 fresh jalapeno chile pepper, chopped
  • 1 tbsp. snipped fresh oregano
  • 1 tsp bottled minced garlic
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
  • 2 tbsp. olive oil

Directions

  1. In a food processor bowl, combine green onions, chipotles, jalapeno, oregano, garlic, and salt. Cover; process until combined. Add ketchup, red wine vinegar, and olive oil; process until smooth. Cover and store unused ketchup in fridge for up to 3 days.
