Potato Soup

Serves 4 people

Ingredients

  • 2-3 slices bacon
  • 3 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 2 medium carrots, diced
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 T flour
  • 2 cups milk

Directions

  1. In large saucepan, fry bacon until crisp; drain on paper towel.

  2. To drippings, add potatos, carrots, onion, salt, pepper and water.

  3. Cook covered about 15 minutes or until tender.

  4. Combine flour with small amount of milk until smooth. Add to potato mixture along with remaining milk.

  5. Cook over medium heat until it boils.

  6. Garnish with crumbled bacon.
