Artichokes and Herb-Cream Sauce

Ingredients
- 4 fresh artichokes, cleaned and trimmed
- 1/4 cup water
- Herb-Cream Sauce:
- 1 pkg. (3 oz.) cream cheese with chives
- 2 Tbsp. milk
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp. celery salt
- 1/2 tsp. dill weed
Directions

Place artichokes and water in 2-quart (12 × 7) glass baking dish. Cover with wax paper; set aside.

Place cream cheese in 2-cup glass measure.

Place artichokes on upper rack in microwave oven and cream cheese on bottom shelf.

Microwave both for about 5 minutes, on high or until cream cheese is warm (about 100 degrees). Remove cream cheese and continue cooking artichokes for 7 to 8 minutes, on high, or until tender-crisp. Let stand, covered, 5 minutes.

Meanwhile, stir remaining Herb-Cream sauce ingredients into warm cheese. Serve as dipping sauce with artichokes.
