Asian Coleslaw

Ingredients

  • Dressing:
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/3 cup white vinegar
  • Coleslaw:
  • 2 (3 oz.) pkg. beet-flavor Ramen noodles soup mix
  • 1 (16 oz.) bag coleslaw mix
  • 1 cup sliced almonds, toasted
  • 1 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1 bunch green onions, trimmed, chopped

Directions

  1. To make the dressing:

  2. Whisk together sugar, oil and vinegar with contents of beef-flavor packets form Ramen noodles. Set aside.

  3. Ro make the coleslaw:

  4. Crush noodles and place in bottom of large bowl. Top with coleslaw mix; sprinkle with almonds, sunflower seeds and onions. Pour dressing over coleslaw mixture. Cover and chill at least 24 hours. toss before serving.
