Fried Artichokes

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 12 oz. bottle beer
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 2- 12 oz. jars marinated artichoke quarters
  • Vegetable oil, for frying
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Directions

  1. Whisk flour with beer and salt. Drain artichokes and pat dry. Dredge in flour, then dip in the batter.

  2. Working in batches, fry in 2 inches 350 degree oil until crisp and golden, 4-5 minutes. Drain on paper towels; season with salt. Serve with lemon wedges.
