Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1 tbsp. olive oil
- 10 garlic cloves, peeled and halved
- 2 tbsp. brandy or chicken stock
- 1 cup chicken stock
- 1 tsp minced fresh rosemary
- 1/2 tsp minced fresh thyme
- 1 tbsp. minced fresh chives
Directions

Sprinkle chicken with salt and pepper. In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Brown chicken on both sides. Remove from pan.

Remove skillet from the heat; add the halved garlic cloves and brandy. Return to the heat; cook and stir over medium heat for 1-2 minutes or until the liquid is almost evaporated.

Stir in stock, rosemary and thyme; return chicken to pan. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 6-8 minutes. Sprinkle with chives.
