Asparagus Ham Bake

Ingredients
- 1 6 oz. can (2/3 cup) evaporated milk
- 2 cups cubed cooked ham
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1/2 cup shredded sharp cheese
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 soup can of water
- 3 Tbsp. finely chopped onion (put in blender)
- 1 10 oz. pkg. frozen asparagus or 1 large can of asparagus
- 1/2 cup cracker crumbs or corn-flake crumbs
- 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
Directions

Combine milk, ham, rice, cheese, soup, water and onion. If using frozen asparagus, pour boiling water over the asparagus to separate; drain.

Spoon half of ham mixture into 10 × 6 × 1 1/2 inch baking dish; top with the asparagus, then with remaining ham mixture.

Combine crumbs and butter, sprinkle over top. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes or until heated through and top is lightly browned.
