Ingredients
- 2 pkg. (10 oz. each) frozen asparagus cuts
- 1/4 cup butter or margarine
- 1 cup coarsely crumbled salted crackers
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
- 2 cups hot milk
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 2 tsp. grated onion
Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Cook asparagus according to package directions. Drain.

melt butter or margarine in a skillet. Add cracker crumbs. Cook until golden brown.

Combine remaining ingredients. Mix well. Add asparagus and crumbs. Mix until well blended.

Line and grease a 9 × 5 × 3-inch loaf pan with a strip of aluminum foil. Grease again. Spoon mixture into pan. Bake for 30 minutes, or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
