Autumn Pear Salad with Glazed Pecans

Ingredients
- 2 small ripe pears, thinly sliced
- 6 cups mixed baby greens
- 1/2 to 2/3 cup light raspberry vinaigrette or red wine vinaigrette dressing
- 1/2 cup Glazed Pecans:
- 1/2 cup pecans
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 Tbsp. butter
Directions

In a large salad bowl toss together pears and greens. Drizzle with dressing; sprinkle with pecans.

Glazed pecans:

Line a baking sheet with foil. Butter the foil.

In a medium skillet combine the pecans, sugar and butter. cook over medium-high heat, without stirring, until sugar begins to melt. Reduce heat to low. Cook and stir until sugar is golden brown. Remove from heat. Carefully pour onto baking sheet. Cool. Break into pieces. Can be made ahead and stored in an air-tight container.
