Ingredients
- 2 very ripe avocados, peeled and pitted
- 1 1/2 cups plain nonfat yogurt
- 1 1/2 cups chilled, good quality chicken stock
- 1 to2 dashes Tabasco sauce
- 2 Tbsp. silver tequila
- 1/2 recipe Fresh tomato salsa
- Fresh Tomato Salsa:
- 1 large, ripe tomato, finely diced
- 2 minced green onions
- 1 minced serrano pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro leaves
- Juice of 1 lime
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

Put the avocados in a blender. Add the yogurt, stock, Tabasco, salt and tequila; then puree.

Pour into a bowl, cover and chill for 1 hour. Taste for seasoning.

To serve, divide the chilled soup among 4 to 6 soup bowls. Put a dollop of salsa in the center of each bowl and serve immediately.

Fresh Tomato Salsa:

Combine diced tomato, minced green onions, and minced serrano pepper. Stir in cilantro and the lime juice. Season to taste with salt.

Use half in the soup recipe and serve the remainder with chips.
